Punk Rock Slasher & Festival Darling THE RANGER Gets Blu-ray/DVD Release in January

Regular readers of Dread Central know that I’ve been extremely enamored with the punk rock splatter-fest The Ranger ever since Isaw it at SXSW last March. Since then, I’ve watched on the sidelines as the film ran the festival circuit, amassing boat-loads of accolades along the way. I even had the honor of moderating a Q&A with director Jenn Wexler and producer Heather Buckley.
In 2019, Shudder will become the permeant digital residence of TheRanger, but today brings news that the film is also receiving a Blu-ray/DVD release via Black Fawn Distribution. Look for it to hit online and brick and mortar retailers beginning January 22nd, 2019.
