Lynn Lowry Stars In Hilarious Trailer For Horror Comedy Short READY FOR MY CLOSE UP

Jason Read, who directed last year’s acclaimed short Ripper Tour (review), has once again teamed up with star Lynn Lowry for a new horror comedy short called Ready For My Close Up. You can watch the first trailer for the hilarious looking film in the player above.
Lowry stars as Megs Topplethwaite, an eccentric B-movie icon who is none too pleased when her nurse tries to steal a valuable film prop from her home. As you can see from the trailer, Lowry clearly had a lot of fun with the role, so we should be in for an entertaining performance.
Ready For My Close Up was written by Michael Haberfelner and produced by Stuart Morriss via his company, Misty Moon. It will also star Charlotte Mounter, Gary Shail, George Sweeney, Dawn Perllman, Christopher Walker, and Alan Hoare. The film is expected to be completed in early 2019, and will be screened to the cast and crew around that time before hitting the festival circuit later in the year.
