unused concept art has been emerging on the internet. We’ve previously shared Constantine Serekis’ Predator/monkey hybrid images followed by Ben Mauro’s Predator/spider/alligator monstrosity. Today, we’re getting a look at some unused props featuring technology that will look familiar to any fan of horror and sci-fi.
Via AvP Galaxy, Jon K. Miller and Sara Villarreal just shared pictures on an unused prop: A breathing mask that resembles a facehugger for the Alien franchise! There were always rumors that Shane Black’s The Predator would somehow re-establish the Alien vs Predator timeline/continuity; while those rumors didn’t shake out, these pictures prove there was at least an attempt made to re-connect the two powerhouse franchises.
Have a look at the facehugger helmet below, followed by the synopsis and trailer for The Predator.
Black directed The Predator from a screenplay penned by Fred Dekker; the film’s sizable ensemble cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, and Olivia Munn.
From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home. When a boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and an evolutionary biologist can prevent the end of the human race.
