Stephen King Has Seen OVERLORD: Here’s What He Thinks

If the incredible reviews out of Fantastic Fest haven’t gotten you excited for Overlord, invading US theaters nationwide on Friday, maybe the opinion of the undisputed Master of Horror will make an impact. Stephen King caught an early screening of Overlord, after which he took to Twitter with high praises.

“Don’t miss OVERLORD, coming November 9th. I’ve seen it, and it’s as good–as scary-fun–as the early Spielberg.”

From J.J. Abrams Bad Robot Productions, Overlord is directed by Julius Avery and stars Jovan Adepo, Wyatt Russell, and Mathilde Ollivier. Give the synopsis and trailer a look-see below.

Synopsis:
On the eve of D-Day, American paratroopers drop behind enemy lines to penetrate the walls of a fortified church and destroy a radio transmitter. As the soldiers approach their target, they soon begin to realize that there’s more going on in the Nazi-occupied village than a simple military operation. Making their way to an underground lab, the outnumbered men stumble upon a sinister experiment that forces them into a vicious battle against an army of the undead.
