Brea Grant is a very familiar face around the horror genre. Having already starred in “Heroes,” “Dexter” and Halloween II, the young actress is ready to deliver the fear from the other side of the camera as a director. Read on for details.

Directed by Grant (who also stars) and co-starring Vera Miao, Best Friends Forever officially went behind cameras this morning and is being shot on Super 16mm on location in Los Angeles and the great state of Texas.

Synopsis
Harriet, the perpetual but unsuccessful optimist, has finally figured out how to take her passion for comics and turn it into a responsible life. But when she and Reba, her seemingly devil-may-care best friend, hit the road to deliver her to grad school in Austin, Texas, and her new life, an impending nuclear apocalypse endangers even the best friendships and best-laid plans.
