Jamie Lee Curtis Will Return for Blumhouse HALLOWEEN Sequel If…

Blumhouse and director David Gordon Green’s direct sequel to John Carpenter’s Halloween is making a killing at the box-office. And so it makes a bit of sense that word is spreading on just when and where will we see a sequel.

Well, scream queen supreme, Jamie Lee Curtis was asked if she was up for returning for more Halloween, Blumhouse-style, and she said sure – on one condition…

If [co-writer/director] David Gordon Green called me up and said let’s do another Halloween, I would do another Halloween,” Curtis told Empire. “If David called and asked me to do another Halloween, I would do it.”

Halloween is directed by David Gordon Green based on a script he wrote with Danny McBride. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode as does Nick Castle as Michael “The Shape” Myers. They are joined by Will Patton, Andi Matichak, and Judy Greer. John Carpenter is on board as executive producer and composer. By popular demand, Halloween screens in IMAX this week.

Synopsis:

Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
