ICE NINE KILLS’ Spencer Charnas Interviews HELL FEST Cast/Crew

With Blumhouse’s Halloween hitting theaters tomorrow, I think it’s safe to say that the slasher genre is making one helluva a comeback. Although Michael Myers’ return certainly helps revitalize the genre, let’s not ignore the impact of Hell Fest, the amusement park-set horror film from Gregory Plotkin (Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, Happy Death Day). The film follows a group of friends who go to a local amusement park during Halloween season on the same night as a crazed killer who uses the aesthetics to hide his grisly deeds.

If you remember, a couple of months ago, Six Flags announced that they were going to have Hell Fest-themed attractions hit select locations. We convinced the powers that be to allow our pal Spencer Charnas, vocalist of Ice Nine Kills, to attend a red carpet event where he went through a themed maze as well as spoke with the cast and crew of the film, much like what he got to do over at Universal Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights! You can see the maze walkthrough above and his interviews below.

Hell Fest was directed by Gregory Plotkin and produced by Gale Anne Hurd. It stars Bex Taylor-Klaus, Amy Forsyth, and Reign Edwards.

Ice Nine Kills‘ new album The Silver Scream, which is based on 13 horror movie classics, is out now via Fearless Records. You can get the album right here.
