NBC Developing LAST AMERICAN VAMPIRE Series

The character of Henry Sturges first appeared in Seth Grahame-Smith’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. He was played by Dominic Cooper (Preacher) in Timur Bekmambetov’s adaptation of the book, and Sturges then headlined the sequel novel.

And today Deadline reports that NBC has “given a script commitment plus penalty” to said sequel novel The Last American Vampire. Former 12 Monkeys showrunner Terry Matalas will pen the adaptation and executive produce along with Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg.
