Exclusive LOOK AWAY Clip Will Make Sure You Never Trust Mirrors Again

Mirrors. What the hell is it about them that makes them such a perfect tool to create scares within horror films? From the cliched and overused “Open the mirror and when it closes there’s someone there!” mechanic to distortions happening in front of our own eyes (hi there, Evil Dead), mirrors are a great prop for creating some pretty damn solid scares.

In the above exclusive clip from Look Away, we see Maria having a conversation with her reflection. But much like Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, the reflection has its own lines…and sinister ambitions.

A psychological thriller that tells the story of Maria, an alienated high-school student whose life is turned upside down when she switches places with her sinister mirror image.

Written and directed by Assaf Bernstein, Look Away stars India Eisley, Mira Sorvino, and Jason Isaacs. It comes to limited theaters and On Demand tomorrow, October 12, via Vertical Entertainment.
