Exclusive THE BOOK OF BIRDIE Clip Hints at a Mysterious, Unsettling Ritual

The indie all-female horror film The Book of Birdie is hitting On Demand channels tomorrow and we want to celebrate the impending release by bringing you an exclusive clip from the movie, which you can watch above! In it, Birdie is confronted by a nun who promises that it will soon be her turn with “the veil”, a mysterious and unknown ritual or object that clearly puts the titular character ill-at-ease.
“When a fragile, imaginative teenager is placed in a dying convent, will her unusual obsessions and hallucinations become a mark of sainthood or a dark heresy?”
Directed by Elizabeth E. Schuch, who co-wrote alongside Anami Tara Shucart, The Book of Birdie stars Ilirida Memedovski, Suzan Crowley, Kathryn Browning, Kathryn Haynes, and Kitty Fenn.
