Open Your Door To Thai Horror Game HOME SWEET HOME

If you never got the chance to experience the horror game Home Sweet Home on PC, you will soon have the opportunity to be terrified by it on consoles. This is because publisher Mastiff announced that they have partnered with developer Yggdrazil Group to bring Home Sweet Home to PS4, PS VR, and Xbox One. The game will be released digitally on the aforementioned systems on October 9, although a physical edition will be available exclusively at GameStop from October 16.

Home Sweet Home was intended to be the first entry in a planned franchise, but it remains to be seen if any sequels will be produced. The game was heavily influenced by Thai mythology and lore, which, according to Saroot Tubloy, Yggdrazil’s Chief Operating Officer, will “captivate and intrigue players”, whilst also promising that the brooding narrative will keep “them clinging to the edge of their seat.” There will also be a strong focus on atmosphere over combat, so you will need to be prepared to face your fears if you want to reach the end.

Playing as a man named Tim, who falls asleep in his home, only to mysteriously awaken in an abandoned and foreboding building with no recollection of how he got there. You will need to uncover not only how you wound up in the strange house, but also how Tim’s perplexing relocation may be linked to his wife’s disappearance. With this being a horror game, the house is also filled with vengeful spirits, so making it out alive will not be an easy option.
