With Uncork’d Entertainment’s The Basement hitting theaters and VOD this Friday, we thought it’d be the perfect time to unleash one fiery, NSFW clip upon all of you!
In the clip, which you can watch above, you’ll find a man held against his will and he’s obviously terrified of his captor, who is waiting for the clock to strike a particular time that clearly has some importance to the two of them. When that moment comes, a blowtorch comes out to play and our dear hostage seems quite perturbed by the sight of it, to put it mildly.
“Craig is abducted and wakes up in a basement. His captor, Bill, is a twisted serial killer who wishes to reenact his own capture, with Craig playing the part of Bill and Bill playing everyone else. As Bill tortures Craig, he cycles through a number of personas, all while Craig tries desperately to find a way into Bill’s pathology in order to save himself.”
Directed by Brian M. Conley and Nathan Ives, The Basement stars Jackson Davis, Cayleb Long, Tracie Thoms, Bailey Anne Borders, and Sarah Nicklin. It was written by Conley, Ives, and Sean Decker. [Editor’s note: Sean Decker is a writer for Dread Central]
