Jordan Peele In Talks to Remake Clive Barker’s CANDYMAN

One of the very best horror flicks of the 90’s is director Bernard Rose’s adaptation of Clive Barker’s “The Forgotten” aka Candyman. I’ve said it a million times, but any day now we can all expect news of a remake heading our way, and low and behold, that day is today.

Our buddies over at Bloody Disgusting claim that none other than Jordan Peele is in talks to remake Clive Barker’s classic supernatural slasher flick. That’s all we know at this time — that there’s “talks” of Peele taking on the remake in some form. We’ll let you know when we hear more.

Until then, make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think of Jordan Peele’s Candyman in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

Synopsis:

Skeptical graduate student Helen Lyle (Virginia Madsen) befriends Anne-Marie McCoy (Vanessa Williams) while researching superstitions in a housing project on Chicago’s Near North Side. From Anne-Marie, Helen learns about the Candyman (Tony Todd), a knife-wielding figure of urban legend that some of her neighbors believe to be responsible for a recent murder. After a mysterious man matching the Candyman’s description begins stalking her, Helen comes to fear that the legend may be all too real.
