Armageddon Has Arrived in Latest Chilling Trailer for AMERICAN HORROR STORY: APOCALYPSE

It’s the end of the world as we know it in the latest, nerve-rattling trailer for American Horror Story: Apocalypse, the 8th chapter of the hit anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk for FX. It looks as though the school for witches featured in Season 3 (Coven) may turn out to be a refuge for those lucky enough to have survived a nuclear assault. Of course, things look much more ominous this time around!
In addition to the apocalyptic themes, we’ve already been told that Season 8 will be a crossover/mash-up of Season 1 (Murder House) and Season 3 (Coven). And while it’s clear nukes and an antichrist play prominently in the impending pandemonium, the disappearance of a pilot mid-flight suggests we’ll be facing the biblical Armageddon, a moment when the righteous will ascend directly to Heaven while the rest of us are left to suffer in Hell on Earth.
American Horror Story returns to FX on Wednesday, September 12th at 9 PM.
