Shayamlan’s Untitled Apple Series Lands Ambrose and Tiger Free

Apple’s upcoming psychological thriller straight-to-series show from M. Night Shyamalan and British TV writer Tony Basgallop has just snagged two of its three leads.
The plot of the series follows parents Dorothy and Sean Turner, who have hired young nanny Leanne to help care for their newborn child, and Deadline reports Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under) will play the mother, Dorothy Turner, and Nell Tiger Free (Game of Thrones) will portray the nanny, Leanne Grayson.
The untitled series is created by Basgallop, who will also write and executive produce along with Shyamalan who will also direct the first episode. It’s produced by Shyamalan’s Blinding Edge Pictures, with the company’s Ashwin Rajan serving as executive producer alongside the Escape Artists team of Jason Blumenthal, Todd Black and Steve Tisch. Taylor Latham will co-executive produce.
