James Gunn’s Secret Horror Movie is BLOODBORNE Adaptation?

We’ve been reporting on the fact that writer-director James Gunn has a secret horror movie in the works (as producer) for months now starring Elizabeth Banks, Jackson Dunn, David Denman, Meredith Hagner, and Matt Jones. And today we have word the untitled H Collective horror flick is all set to be released by Sony later this year.
Not much else is know about the film, but Screen Rant theorizes that it may be an adaptation FromSoftware’s PS4 exclusive game Bloodborne. But this has in no way, shape, or form been confirmed.
I’m not familiar with the game so I won’t be deflated if the film ends up being something else. Hell, with the cast and behind the scenes talent the film has on its side, it could be a reboot of the Twilight saga and I’d still give it a go.

David Yarovesky (The Hive) will direct the film from a script written by Brian and Mark Gunn. The H Collective will fully finance the flick and produce alongside Gunn and his Troll Court Entertainment. The thriller will be released by Sony later this year.
