Exclusive BLOOD FEST Clip Pays Homage to SAW-Like Torture Devices

Coming soon is Rooster Teeth’s Blood Fest, which will be hitting theaters and digital, cable and satellite platforms on August 31st. The film will also be made available on Blu-ray/DVD combo pack from Cinedigm starting October 2nd.
To give you all a taste of the comedy/horror slasher flick, we’ve got an exclusive clip from the film that you can watch above!
Director Owen Egerton tells us, “In this scene, our heroes find themselves in one of Blood Fest’s top attractions: Torturville. They’ve fallen into the clutches of a nasty wheelchair-bound puppet with an unpleasant grin. Every minute that ticks by, the chains pull tighter in opposite directions, tearing a victim apart like a slow wishbone.”
“Blood Fest follows fans who flock to a festival celebrating the most iconic horror movies, only to discover that the charismatic showman behind the event has a diabolical agenda. As festival attendees start dying off, three teenagers more schooled in horror-film clichés than practical knowledge about neutralizing psycho killers must band together and battle through various madmen and monstrosities to survive.”
Written and directed by Owen Egerton, Blood Fest stars Robbie Kay, Seychelle Gabriel, Jacob Batalon, Barbara Dunkelman, Tate Donovan, and Zachary Levi.
