Arnold Schwarzenegger Begins Shooting TERMINATOR

This weekend marks the Climate Action Pacific Partnership (CAPP) conference in Suva, Fiji. An event that focuses on tackling global warming, climate change, and ecological awareness within the Pacific Small Island Developing States, the event is part of the Paris Agreement and is hosted by Fiji’s High Level Champion, Minister Seruiratu.

So what does this all have to do with Terminator? Easy! Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was the governor of California for several years and who still participates in politics, is a big proponent of bringing eyeballs to the forefront about the impact our way of life is having on the environment. In a video to CAPP, Schwarzenegger regrets being unable to attend but that’s because he’s revealed that he’s currently shooting the sixth entry in the Terminator franchise.

As he states in the below video (with thanks to The Terminator Fans), “Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama, I want to congratulate you for this great event and I’m sorry I cannot be with you but I’m currently shooting ‘Terminator 6’ and so this is why I’m not there; otherwise I would have been there because this is a terrific event and you have shown terrific leadership. I mean, you’re really kicking some serious butt, so we are very, very proud of you. So thank you very much for everything that you do and you’re a great leader in the environmental movement. Thank you.”

Terminator will be coming out on November 22, 2019 and will also star Linda Hamilton, who played Sarah Connor in the first two films. James Cameron, who directed the first two films, is on to produce alongside David Ellison and Deadpool‘s Tim Miller is directing. Cameron, Ellison, and Miller all conceived the story, which is written by Billy Ray, David S. Goyer, Justin Rhodes, and Josh Friedman..
