DEAD BY DAYLIGHT’s CURTAIN CALL DLC Adds A Killer Clown To The Mix

Dead by Daylight is certainly a pretty decent game, although most players would probably agree that it’s not a particularly funny game. That changes today, however, as the new Curtain Call DLC adds killer clowns into the mix. And regardless of whether or not you find clowns funny, this is still a killer piece of DLC (no pun intended), which you should order right away.

Curtain Call was released to mark the two-year anniversary of Dead by Daylight and features a new playable killer who is aptly titled The Clown. But don’t expect him to be throwing custard pies or squirting water flowers because this jokester comes packing with a butterfly knife and a key ring stacked with human fingers. The official Dead by Daylight database gives his real name as Kenneth Chase and reveals that he actually had quite a tragic backstory.

The DLC also includes a new survivor named Kate Denson, a singer with a strong connection to nature. Lastly, Curtain Call’s map is set around Father Campbell’s Chapel, which was once a place of refuge and solace, but now lies ruined and decayed.

If you already own Dead by Daylight, you can purchase Curtain Call on PC, PS4, or Xbox One, for $7.99.

Dead by Daylight: Curtain Call Synopsis:
Curtain Call is a brand new chapter for Dead by Daylight. It includes a new killer, a survivor, and a map as well as an exclusive item for the new survivor.

People often speak of the tears of a clown, of the sadness that lies beneath the greasepaint smile. What if that wasn’t sadness, but a deep malevolence, born of a life spent in the pursuit of drink and gluttony? A mind that sees others only as vessels for torture and reduces their bodies down to a single finger, a trophy to be added to a collection. For something like that to survive, it would have to wear a disguise, cloak itself in a brighter aspect and a broad smile, even if it were just painted on.

Kate Denson’s smile is genuine, friendly, and warm. She sings of love and life, family and hope. She holds those values dear and will fight anyone who tries to destroy them.
