Short Film THEY HEAR IT Gets Feature Adaptation

Julian Terry

Legendary Pictures will be turning director Julian Terry’s short film They Hear It into a feature film. The goal is evidently to make a successful low budget horror short to movie hit ala Lights Out and Mama.

Created by Terry as a proof of concept short, Terry won the Annabelle Creation short film contest last year with The Nurse (see below).

Full plot details regarding They Hear It are being kept under wraps, but Deadline compares the story to It and A Nightmare On Elm Street.

Alex Heineman and Andrew Rona produce, and Jacob Chase will be executive producer. Silk and Blake Avery will oversee for Legendary.
