Lynn Lowry Says I’M READY FOR MY CLOSE UP

After the critical success of Ripper Tour, legendary horror actress Lynn Lowry is set to reunite with director Jason Read for Ready For My Close Up, a new horror short which is currently raising funds on Indiegogo. Lowry, who is known for her roles in films such as Shivers and The Crazies, came up with the idea for the short herself, with Michael Haberfelner writing the script. Stuart Morriss, the curator of the Misty Moon Society, will once again serve as producer.
In Ready For My Close Up, a nurse caring for fading B-movie icon Megs Topplethwaite decides it will be a good idea to steal a priceless film prop from her home, which might just prove to be a fatal mistake. Clearly, crime doesn’t pay. I won’t reveal much more about the plot, but I will say that horror fans are in for one heck of a good time.
The supporting cast will include Charlotte Mounter, Gary Shail, George Sweeney, Dawn Perllman, Christopher Walker, and Alan Hoare. Should the funding be successful, we can expect Ready For My Close Up to completed towards the end of the year.
