CHILD’S PLAY: THE TV SERIES Still Coming Soon Despite Reboot
Last week we passed along the crazy news that the producers of Stephen King’s IT and MGM are rebooting the infamous killer doll franchise Child’s Play from director Lars Klevberg (Polaroid).
But what does this mean for franchise-creator Don Mancini’s upcoming Child’s Play: The TV Series? Well, our buddies over at Bloody Disgusting just talked to Mancini and he told them:
“We’re still working on the series and also plan to continue the film franchise with Universal. We intend to stay true to the universe we’ve created.”
Fucking sweet! So not only does Mancini have every intention of moving forward with his planned TV series, but he’ll also be making more Chucky flicks in the future. Good times!
