Well Go USA Releasing PHANTASM III and IV Standalone Blu-rays

Well GO USA will finally be releasing Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead and Phantasm IV: Oblivion on Blu-ray September 18th.
Word on the release comes to us from the Facebook page called Phantasm Exhumed Books, who goes on a bit of a rant in their post, most of which I don’t understand but maybe you will so here it is:
“Not sure why phans are getting bent out of shape over this. Yes, P3 and P4 were in last year’s Blu-ray box collection, but that set was limited to 10k copies and sold out in a quick month. These standalone releases are for everyone who doesn’t have that set. They’ll (probably) have even less features than the Blu collection. Okay, rant over.”
I’d think most Phantasm fans knew this already, but I guess this poor Facebook page got the brunt on fanboy backlash. Oh, well. All the same, once again, Well GO USA will finally be releasing Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead and Phantasm IV: Oblivion on Blu-ray September 18th.
No word on supplements yet.
