Blumhouse Will Make GET OUT 2 If Peele Returns

It could easily be argued that Blumhouse’s best film is writer-director Jordan’s Peele’s Oscar-winning horror-thriller Get Out. So does franchise-loving producer Jason Blum have any plans to make a sequel?
Yes, and no.
Blum recently spoke with Variety and said that he’d be up for Get Out 2 – but only via Jordan Peele.
“If Jordan wants to do a sequel, I’ll do it in a second, but it has to come from Jordan Peele,” said Blum. “I think he’s flirting with the idea.”

Synopsis:
Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy and Dean. At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined.
