#SDCC18: Brian Skiba’s ROTTENTAIL Gets New Poster
Continuing our coverage of all things Comic Con-related, the first official poster for Brian Skiba’s demented pic Rottentail, about a half-man/half-rabbit hybrid, has just been released!
For any fans of The Fly-esque fare of the ‘80s – keep watch of this one. Tentatively scheduled for an October release, Rottentail is an adaption of the 2015 graphic novel of the same name (published by Source Point Press). The film stars Corin Nemec (Parker Lewis Can’t Lose) as Peter Cotton (ha!) – a scientific researcher who, after a nasty bite, transforms into the titular creature.
Pictures of Nemec in character have already been released — and with make-up effects supplied by Oscar-winning artist Todd Tucker (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), this twisted tale looks to appease the appetite of gorehounds!
Aside from Nemec, the film stars Dominique Swain, Vincent De Paul, Laurie Love, William McNamara, and genre vet Gianni Capaldi, who informs us, “[Rottentail] was a fun show […] I took the reigns of this evil scientist who brought this creature to life. It’s real tongue-in-cheek and is an absolute scream.” He went on to praise director Skiba and called Nemec’s performance “excellent.”
