Last week we let you guys know that writer-director Michael Cristofer’s new horror-thriller The Night Clerk had cast Helen Hunt (Twister), Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049), and John Leguizamo (Super Mario Bros.).
And today we have word that Day of the Dead: Bloodline star Johnathon Schaech has joined the cast as well.
The impressive list of actors will join producer-star Tye Sheridan in the film, which Deadline reports began production last week. David Wulf is producing the project with Sheridan.
Santosh Govindaraju, Dan Reardon, and Robbie Brenner are executive producers. Convergent Media LLC is financing the film with Gersh and Highland Film Group co-repping the U.S. sales. HFG is also handling foreign.
Sheridan stars as Hotel night clerk Bart Bromley, a highly intelligent young man on the Autism spectrum. When a woman is murdered during his shift, Bart becomes the prime suspect. As the police investigation closes in, Bart makes a personal connection with a beautiful guest named Andrea, but soon realizes he must stop the real murderer before she becomes the next victim.
