FX Renews LEGION For Season 3

I don’t think this is necessary “horror” related, but as a horror fan, if you haven’t checked out FX’s X-Men series Legion, you need to give it a go. And speaking of which, today we have word the network has given the series an order for season three.

Legion has redefined the superhero drama and exceeded all expectations as the intensity and revelation build through the second season,” said FX president of original programming Eric Schrier. “We are incredibly proud of Noah Hawley’s achievement and are honored to continue the series as it pushes the boundaries of conventional television storytelling. We are also grateful for the contributions of our executive producers, John Cameron, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, and Jeph Loeb with Marvel Television, as well as our outstanding cast and crew of this groundbreaking show.”

Hawley serves as executive producer, alongside Cameron, Shuler Donner, Kinberg, and Loeb. Nathaniel Halpern is co-executive producer. Legion is produced by FX Productions and Marvel Television.

Synopsis:

Based on a comic from Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, Legion stars Dan Stevens as a man who believed himself to be schizophrenic only to discover while he is in a sanitarium that he is a mutant with superpowers.
