Bloody-Disgusting Teams Up With Doppelgänger Releasing, Will Bring HEAVY TRIP Later This Year

Genre website Bloody-Disgusting is getting back into the distribution game as they’ve announced that they’re teaming up with Music Box Films’ genre label Doppelgänger Releasing to bring the Finnish heavy metal horror/comedy Heavy Trip to limited theaters and home video later this year. The film will also play at this year’s Cinepocalypse.
“A young man is trying to overcome his fears by leading the most unknown heavy metal band in to the hottest metal festival of Norway. The journey includes heavy metal, grave robbing, Viking heaven and an armed conflict between Finland and Norway.”
Directed by Jukka Vidgren and Juuso Laatio, Heavy Trip stars Johannes Holopainen, Minka Kuustonen, Max Ovaska, Antti Heikkinen, Samuli Jaskio, Chike Ohanwe, and Ville Tiihonen.
