Denis O’Hare (American Horror Story) has just joined Haley Bennett (The Haunting of Molly Hartley, Kristy) in the debut feature film of writer-director Carlo Mirabella-Davis.
The new indie psychological thriller is called Swallow and it boasts one of the strangest plots rundowns I’ve read in quite some time. It follows:
“A newly pregnant woman who develops the compulsion to consume dangerous objects. The story follows her as she tries to escape the controlling family of her husband to confront the dark secret behind her obsession.”

In addition to the above-mentioned O’Hare and Bennett Deadline reports the film co-stars Austin Stowell, Elizabeth Marvel, and David Rasche. Mollye Asher and Mynette Louie are producing. Joe Wright is aboard as an executive producer with Bennett, Constantin Briest, Yohann Comte, Pierre Mazars, Eric Tavitian and Sam Bisbee.
Shooting is now underway.
