Kidman Sees Ghosts
Wow, could it be that the older Nicole Kidman gets, the more she’s learning towards horror movies? Or is it just easier to pretend you’re scared than pretend you’re not a bitchy redhead?
After her turn in Invasion she’ll be moving on to another remake, specifically a Colombian film called Al final del espectro, according to Daily Variety. The original told of a woman who is encouraged by her father to take refuge in an apartment building after a tragedy makes her agoraphobic. Instead of helping her, she becomes a shut-in and starts to see a ghost.
Man, this is just weird; after reporting on the remake of the Spanish film Rec yesterday (“Pougkeepsie Brothers Hit Rec” – August 07) and now this; it’s like Hollywood is just waiting for the film to be done overseas before churning out a US counterpart.
Incidentally, Al Final will be helmed by the same director as the original, Juan Felipe Orozoc. Check out the the official site for Al final del espectro to learn more about it and keep it here for updates!
