We told you a few weeks ago that Darren Lynn Bousman (Mother’s Day, Repo!, the Saw franchise, The Devil’s Carnival, The Tension Experience) would be the guest curator for Dread Central’s next Box of Dread, and the time has come to give you an update. The box is shipping later than we had hoped as we are still waiting for inventory to arrive, but Darren had a really generous idea to make up for it…

“When Dread reached out to me and asked if I’d be interested in putting together a box, I pitched them an idea,” says Bousman. “What if we put together a few lottery boxes… specialty boxes that had a little something extra in them that were randomly sent out? I have a storage unit that I keep all of my props and movie memorabilia in. I found a treasure trove of stuff in it, and I pulled out a few things that will randomly be included in the boxes.”
