Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare is hitting theaters this Friday, and we’re celebrating that release by teaming up with singer/songwriter/producer Nyssa to premiere the video for her track “Champion of Love”, which appears in the film. The title track from her upcoming debut EP (out this Friday too), the video, which was directed by Ron Hollywood, is a surreal descent into a punk Wonderland all while exuding trashy glam pop stylings.

Nyssa tells Dread Central, “‘Champion of Love’ is a bizarro Dionysian exultation—a puckish takedown of sterile adulthood. Feast your eyes on this Ron Hollywood-directed glam Bacchanal. I’m your pied piper, your mad hatter, your witch in the woods, here to lead you in the revelry of my sleazy Saturnalia.

You can follow Nyssa on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Soundcloud.

Tour dates:
April 20 – Toronto at Owl’s Club (EP Release Show)
April 27 – Ottawa at Pressed
April 29 – Brasserie Beaubien

Truth or Dare is directed by Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2, Cry_Wolf) and stars Lucy Hale (Scream 4), Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf”), Violett Beane, Nolan Gerard Funk, Hayden Szeto and Sophia Taylor Ali. The film was produced by Blumhouse’s Jason Blum and executive produced by Wadlow.

A harmless game of Truth or Dare among friends turns deadly when someone—or something—begins to punish those who tell a lie—or refuse the dare.
