Leigh Whannell’s Upgrade Starring Logan Marshall-Green Gets Poster and NSFW Trailer

Blumhouse and writer-director Leigh Whannell’s new sci-fi horror thriller Upgrade basically took SXSW by storm, winning the Audience Award and snagging a review via Dread Central which called the film, “a wickedly entertaining sci-fi body horror thrill ride”. And today we have the film’s poster and red band trailer for your viewing pleasure.

The new Blumhouse film is written and directed by Leigh Whannell (Saw, Insidious) and stars Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus, The Invitation) and Betty Gabriel (Get Out).

The film hits theaters June 1.

Synopsis:

After his wife is killed during a brutal mugging that also leaves him paralyzed, Grey Trace (Logan Marshall-Green) is approached by a billionaire inventor with an experimental cure that will “upgrade” his body. The cure – an Artificial Intelligence implant called STEM – gives Grey physical abilities beyond anything experienced and the ability to relentlessly claim vengeance against those who murdered his wife and left him for dead.
