New York Fans Enjoy a FREE Screening of Bad Samaritan with Dean Devlin

Dread Central will be hosting a free screening of director Dean Devlin’s edge-of-your-seat suspense thriller Bad Samaritan on April 19 at the fabulous Brooklyn Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (445 Albee Square West; 718-513-2547). Devlin, co-writer of such blockbusters as Independence Day, Stargate and Godzilla, will introduce the movie and stay for a Q&A, moderated by Dread’s Tony Timpone. Doors open at 7 pm.

In Bad Samaritan, a valet (Robert Sheehan of Misfits and Season of the Witch) develops a clever scam to burglarize the houses of rich customers. Things go smoothly until he robs the wrong guy (David Tennant of “Doctor Who” and “Jessica Jones”), and discovers a woman being held captive in his home. Afraid of going to prison, he leaves the woman there and makes a call to the police, who find nothing when they investigate. Now, the valet must endure the wrath of the sadistic kidnapper who seeks revenge on him, all while desperately trying to find and rescue the distraught prisoner he left behind.

DreadVision’s Bad Samaritan screening will be a free show; to obtain tickets, send an email to screenings@dreadcentral.com. Please list “Bad Samaritan” in your subject line and provide your full name. Offer is good for you and your guests (the more the merrier!). We will confirm your RSVP, but seating is not guaranteed, so arrive early. Written by Brandon (Apt Pupil) Boyce, Bad Samaritan co-stars Carlito (The X Factor) Olivero, Kerry (Avengers: Infinity War) Condon and Lisa Brenner, who has appeared in the Devlin TV series “The Librarian”, “Leverage” and “The Triangle”.

This exclusive event is presented by our pals at Electric Entertainment, who are releasing Bad Samaritan in theaters nationwide on May 4. Visit the film’s Facebook page here and Twitter feed here. More exclusive DreadVision screening events coming soon, so watch this space!
