Ryan Murphy Confirms Kathy Bates and Evan Peters Return for American Horror Story Season 8

I don’t know about you, but I enjoyed the last season of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story.” The fact that “AHS: Cult” was the first season without anything supernatural going on was a welcomed change of pace for me.

Which brings us to the upcoming eighth season of the FX series, which is set in the future and rumored to be titled “American Horror Story: Radioactive.”

Turns out that not only will Sarah Paulson be back for more blood and butchery, but series mainstays Evan Peters and Kathy Bates (pictured right; “Freak Show”) will be back in on the gory good times as well.

Kathy and Sarah Paulson have a lot of great stuff to get to do,” Murphy told EW. “So, with Evan Peters, the three of them are the leads this year.”

Bates sat out the last season due to her role in the Netflix weed comedy “Disjointed,” but since that show recently got the axe, Bates is free to rejoin her “AHS” family.

Oh, and speaking of the above-mentioned possible Season 8 title “AHS: Radioactive,” Murphy spoke to EW about that as well, saying, “I heard about that rumor. Well, that’s based on a fact that we’ve cleared a lot of titles for that show. It’s an interesting idea. I can neither confirm nor deny.”

Thanks, Ryan. How excited are you for the return of Bates, Peters, and Paulson (folk band name, called it) to Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story”? Let us know below!
