Mackenzie Davis May Join James Cameron and Tim Miller’s Terminator Reboot

I’m a big fan of actress Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049, Always Shine) so I’m super f*cking excited to hear that she may very well be taking on a lead role in James Cameron’s upcoming Terminator reboot.

Yes, Variety reports that Davis is in negotiations to join director Tim Miller’s Terminator 6 along with Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Evidently, Davis has been the top choice for a while now but just needs to be signed off by Cameron, who’s currently shooting f*cking nineteen Avatar sequels.

Personally, I think Davis is a great choice to (possibly) take over Sarah Conner-ish role we’ve heard talk about over the past few months. Based on the films I’ve seen her in, she is a terrific actress and looks like she can hold her own against an army of killer robots.

What do you think of this casting? Let us know below!

The sequel/reboot is directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by James Cameron and Skydance’s David Ellison. Billy Ray has signed on to polish the script based on a story by Cameron, Miller, and Ellison.

Terminator 6 hits July 26, 2019.
