Exclusive: Let’s Get Tentacly in This Killing Joan Clip

Hailing from writer/director Todd Bartoo, we’ve got a sneak peek at the upcoming revenge horror/thriller Killing Joan, which definitely sounds like it’s taking a page from The Crow. In the clip, we see star Jamie Bernadette (All Girl’s Weekend, I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu) rocking some black leather and facing a brick wall that starts pouring forth dark smoke. Within the smog, we begin to see black tendrils coming forth and wrapping themselves around her arms, pulling her into the plumes.

The film features visual effects by Paul Lada (Prometheus, Harry Potter, Pacific Rim Uprising) and starring Teo Celigo, Erik Aude, David Carey Foster, Katarina Leigh Waters, Erin O’Brien and Daniel Gardner.

Synopsis:
Joan is an enforcer known for her ruthless tactics and wild abandon. After she is double crossed by her boss and left for dead, she becomes a vengeful spirit and is doomed to wander the Earth until she is able to take down the men that attacked her.

Killing Joan is available on Digital 4/3 and DVD 7/10 via Uncork’d Entertainment.
