The Grudge Reboot Seeks to Curse Andrea Riseborough

Eight months ago we let you guys know that the reboot/fourth entry in The Grudge series had landed a director in Nicolas Pesce (The Eyes of My Mother).
Today have word via Empire that Andrea Riseborough is “apparently the number one choice to take the lead” as “a single mother who’s also a police detective.”
Riseborough is best known for the recent “Waco” TV series co-starring Michael Shannon, “Black Mirror”, and will next be seen in the Nic Cage flick Mandy as the titular Mandy.
No deals have been signed with Riseborough yet and not much else is know about the upcoming reboot at this point, but we will keep you guys posted.
