R.L. Stine’s New Fear Street Novel You May Now Kill the Bride Gets Awesome Retro Cover

I’m a big fan of R.L. Stine.

I grew up in just the right years to see Stine’s “Goosebumps” kid-horror books catch fire, and his teen horror series “Fear Street” was all the rage as I got a bit older.

It is with this in mind that I’m not only excited about the upcoming Fear Street movie, but about the upcoming “Return to Fear Street” novel series.

And speaking of “Return to Fear Street” the first title under the new banner You May Now Kill the Bride will be hitting on July 24 via HarperCollins’ HarperTeen.

I know I’ll be picking up a copy considering one of the best things about the original series was its killer covers and I’m glad to see the publishers are returning to the retro cover art (which you can check out to the right).

And since we’re here, the second Return to Fear Street book “The Wrong Girl” lands on September 25. Will you be picking up a copy of R.L. Stine’s “Return to Fear Street #1: You May Now Kill the Bride”? Let us know below!

The new novel will be available in paperback, e-book, and audio CD. You can pre-order the paperback today RIGHT HERE. “You May Now Kill the Bride” hits on July 24.

Synopsis:

Two sisters, divided by time. Each with a terrible resentment she can barely contain. Two Fear family weddings, decades apart… Each bride will find that the ancient curse that haunts the Fears lives on. It feeds off the evil that courses through their blood. It takes its toll in unexpected ways and allows dark history to repeat itself.
