The day just isn’t complete without some news about FX’s upcoming series “American Horror Story”, and we have two pretty cool items to share. First is that former “Heroes” star Zachary Quinto has signed on for a four-episode (at least) arc, and second is that the powers-that-be are prepping a big two-part Halloween episode whose conclusion will air on October 31st.
Per Deadline Quinto will play Chad, the gay former owner of the house who becomes friends with current owner Vivien Harmon. He will make his debut in a big two-part Halloween episode of “American Horror Story”, which showrunners Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are working on. The first part will air in the series’ regular Wednesday night time slot on October 26, followed by Part 2 on Halloween night, which FX is expected to be turn into an “American Horror Story”-themed event.

The show co-created by former “Nip/Tuck” executive producers and current “Glee” co-creators/executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk revolves around The Harmons, a family of three who move from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish. The all star cast features Dylan McDermott (“The Practice”) as “Ben Harmon,” a psychiatrist; Connie Britton (“Friday Night Lights”) as “Vivien Harmon,” Ben’s wife; Taissa Farmiga as “Violet,” the Harmons’ teenage daughter; Jessica Lange (Tootsie, Blue Sky, Grey Gardens) in her first-ever regular series TV role as “Constance,” the Harmons’ neighbor; Evan Peters (“One Tree Hill”) plays “Tate Langdon,” one of Ben’s patients; and Denis O’Hare (“The Good Wife”) as “Larry Harvey.” Guest stars for the series include Frances Conroy (“Six Feet Under”) as the Harmons’ housekeeper; Alexandra Breckenridge (Dirt) as the Harmons’ housekeeper; and Jamie Brewer as Constance’s daughter.
“American Horror Story” is set to premiere on October 5th on FX and will run Wednesdays at 10 PM ET/PT. In the meantime visit the show’s Facebook page along with “American Horror Story” on FX, where you’ll find some exclusive extras you won’t see anywhere else!
