Panic Fest Launching Next Week in Kansas City: Dread Central Presents Taking Over!

Next week Kansas City, MO, will be inundated with the creepy, the spooky, and the downright scary as Panic Fest celebrates its 6th annual event at the Screenland Armour Theater! The three-day festival runs January 26 through 28 and will feature over 20 feature films, two short film blocks, several live events, and special guest appearances!

We truly believe this is the most solid film line-up we’ve had to date,” said Adam Roberts, co-founder of the festival and owner of Screenland Armour.

Playing at the festival will be Ted Geoghegan’s Mohawk, Ryan Prows’ Lowlife, Issa López’s Tigers Are Not Afraid, Adam Green’s Victor Crowley, Joe Lynch’s Mayhem, and more.

But why we’re really excited about the lineup is that not one, not two, but THREE Dread Central Presents films will be playing! Attendees can see Vidar the Vampire, Terrifier, and Imitation Girl during those three days, which we highly recommend doing!

We really wanted to take a big step forward in becoming the forefront for emerging films and filmmakers in these genres,” said Tim KC Canton, co-founder of the festival and founder of DownrightCreepy.com.

Special guests include Geoghegan, Prows, They Remain‘s Philip Gelatt, and both Green and Lynch, who will not only be on hand for their films but also to do a live recording of their podcast, The Movie Crypt!

Ticket information can be found at Panic Fest’s official website.
