It’s been a while since we’ve gotten an update on Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad’s feature film debut, Jinn, but now that Exxodus Pictures is currently finishing post-production on the project, we expect several more to follow soon. In the meantime here’s our first look at William Atherton as Father Westhoff.
From the Press Release:
Jinn is a supernatural thriller that will introduce the authentic mythology of the jinn to the western world. “Almost half the world already believes in the existence of the jinn; however, the other half has never heard of them before. From China to Africa, hundreds of millions believe the jinn are the solitary answer for everything that goes bump in the night,” says writer/director Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad of Exxodus Pictures.
Atherton is best known for his memorable roles in the Die Hard series and Ghostbusters. Jinn also stars Ray Park (Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, X-Men), Serinda Swan (Tron: Legacy, A&E’s “Breakout Kings”), Faran Tahir (Iron Man, Star Trek), and newcomer Dominic Rains.
In addition to the Jinn franchise, Exxodus is currently producing the FireBreather super car. The 600-hp v8 FireBreather has a featured role in Jinn and marks the first time in the motion picture and automotive industries that a movie vehicle has been designed and engineered to be produced and sold to the public. The FireBreather, a modern design honoring classic American muscle, has already amassed a large fan following.

Synopsis
In the Beginning, Three were Created…
Man made of Clay.
Angels made of Light.
And a Third…made of Fire.
From the beginning stories of angels and men have captured our imaginations and have been etched into our history, crossing all boundaries of culture, religion, and time. These two races have dominated the landscape of modern mythology for countless centuries, almost washing away the evidence that a third ever existed. This third race, born of smokeless fire, was called the jinn. Similar to humans in many ways, the jinn lived invisibly among us, and only under dire or unusual circumstances were our paths ever meant to cross.
As humans became the dominant force on Earth, contact between man and jinn steadily decreased.
Modern man has all but forgotten the jinn.
It is time for him to remember.
