Zach Galligan Wants Proper Gremlins Sequel With Minimal CGI

The last word we brought you guys on the potential sequel Gremlins 3 was way back a full year ago when we let you guys know that series star Zach Galligan said the film would, in fact, be a sequel and not a reboot.

And today it looks like Galligan is keeping the Gremlins 3 flame burning as he took to Twitter recently and shared the following tweet:

Looks like Galligan is just as anxious as the rest of us to see a new Gremlins film. What about you? Let us know below!

The original film was directed by Joe Dante from a script by Chris Columbus and starred Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates, and Dick Miller.

Synopsis:

A gadget salesman is looking for a special gift for his son and finds one at a store in Chinatown. The shopkeeper is reluctant to sell him the “mogwai” but sells it to him with the warning to never expose him to bright light, water, or to feed him after midnight. All of this happens and the result is a gang of gremlins that decide to tear up the town on Christmas Eve.

What do you think?
