Practical FX Werewolf Movie Bonehill Road Premiering on January 26th
Vampires can suck it because werewolves have always been a million times more awesome. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, later this month you can get in on some hairy action at the premiere of director Todd Sheets’ new werewolf movie Bonehill Road, which will take place at the Regency North Hollywood Valley Plaza 6 Theater on January 26th at 9:30 PM PT.
Bonehill Road is notable for utilizing old school practical creature effects instead of CGI, so if you’re a fan of classic monster films released in the days before computer animation, you’re probably in for one hell of a great time. The film stars Linnea Quigley, Dilynn Fawn Harvey, Gary Kent, Eli DeGeer, Millie Milan, and David E. McMahon.
Sheets is a big name in the horror industry; his previous films include Zombie Bloodbath, Violent New Breed, Catacombs, and Fear of the Dark. Bonehill Road is a dream project that he’s been trying to make since 1992, so he’ll probably be thrilled to see it all pay off at the end of the month.
In addition, Terror Toons Presents: Personal Demons, directed by Brinke Stevens, is screening with Bonehill Road as a double feature. Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens, and the cast and crew for both films are expected to attend.
