Resident Evil: Retribution Revs up for Russia

More Resident Evil: Retribution news coming in from Milla Jovovich and her Twitter account. Looks like the next film in the franchise will be home to more international flavor than just a quick trip to Japan.
“YES! WE ARE DOING A HUGE ACTION SEQUENCE IN RED SQUARE!!!!” proclaimed the actress on Twitter. No word yet on how much of the movie will be filmed there, but apparently the budget is big enough (thanks, inflated 3D ticket prices) to warrant being able to go trekking across the planet!
Jovovich will of course be returning to the franchise once again to play Alice, joining Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine. Oh, yeah, and Paul W.S. Anderson is returning to direct the film from his own screenplay.
Expect lots of bullets and Matrix-style slow motion. Look for Resident Evil: Retribution in theatres on September 14, 2012 from Screen Gems.
