The Strode Family Expands as Andi Matichak Joins Blumhouse’s Halloween

Andi Matichak in “Orange Is the New Black”
Some very interesting news has come out today as The Tracking Board is reporting that Andi Matichak (“Orange Is the New Black”) has joined the cast of Blumhouse’s Halloween. She will be playing Judy Greer’s daughter, which means that she will be the granddaughter of Jamie Lee Curtis’ character, Laurie Strode.
Halloween, which is written by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride, will be shooting this January with plans to release in October of 2018. It is being executive produced by original creator John Carpenter, who will also be providing the score.
In the new film, “Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.”
The anticipated release date is October 19, 2018.
