Adrienne Barbeau Would Love to Return as Stevie from John Carpenter’s The Fog

One of my favorite John Carpenter movies is The Fog, his followup to Halloween. The movie has more than it’s fair share of issues, but the visuals and the score are beyond badass.

And with all of the classic films getting reboots, sequels, and TV series it only seems like a matter of time before Carpenter’s The Fog gets (another) remake/reboot.

While I don’t know if I’d be down with anything other than (maybe) a TV series based on Carpenter’s classic, one person who would be up for it is actress Adrienne Barbeau.

The classic scream queen recently spoke with Terror Time and was eventually asked if she’d be up for reprising the role of DJ Stevie Wayne in a possible reimagining.

“I’d love it if I could reprise Stevie Wayne again,” Barbeau said. “She’s one of my favorites.”

Here’s hoping someone gets a TV reboot of John Carpenter’s The Fog going asap. If for precisely no other reason than I’d love to see Barbeau return as Stevie to kick more fog-ass.

How about you? Would you be up for a reboot/remake of John Carpenter’s The Fog if Adrienne Barbeau returned as Stevie Wayne? Let us know below!

The Fog was directed John Carpenter from a script he co-wrote with Debra Hill. The film starred Adrienne Barbeau, Jamie Lee Curtis, Janet Leigh, Tom Atkins, and Hal Holbrook.

Synopsis:

Legend says that Antonio Bay was built in 1880 with blood money obtained from shipwrecked lepers, which no one believes. On the eve of the town’s centennial, many plan to attend the celebrations, including the murdered lepers.
