It’s that time of the week again, Dread heads! Another series of video interviews have reared their heads, and this time from the cast and crew of Final Destination 5.
Today director Steven Quale and producer Craig Perry share their experiences in making the movie.
Final Destination 5 is directed by Steven Quale and written by Eric Heisserer. This installment stars Emma Bell (TV’s “The Walking Dead”), Nick D’Agosto, Miles Fisher (TV’s “Mad Men” and “Gossip Girl”), Arlen Escarpeta (Friday the 13th), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (TV’s “The Bold and the Beautiful”), P.J. Byrne (Dinner for Schmucks), and Ellen Wroe (TV’s “Huge”) as well as Courtney B. Vance (TV’s “Flash Forward,” “ER”), David Koechner (“The Office,” Anchorman) and Final Destination franchise icon Tony Todd (Hatchet II).

In our first bit of video goodness, director Steven Quale spends some time talking about how he came to get involved in the latest installment of the Final Destination franchise and describes how to use 3D effectively to tell a story. He also elaborates on how the flick utilizes The 3 Great Conflicts. As expected, he also gushes about working with Emma Bell, Nick D’Agosto, Miles Fisher, Davic Koechner and the rest of the ensemble cast.
In video dos producer Craig Perry gives his take on the premise of the film and the opening sequence that is now the blueprint of the franchise. He also spends time talking about shooting in 3D and Steven Quale’s 3D experience.
