Well, this is interesting news, to say the least…

Looks like writer-director Jordan’s Peele amazing horror-thriller Get Out is going to be campaigning for some much deserved Golden Globes love.

But in the category of… comedy?

Yes, as strange as that may sound, EW just confirmed that Jordan Peele’s Get Out will be attempting to attract voters in the comedy/musical categories.

Supposedly Blumhouse itself was the one responsible for entering the film as a comedy. Huh. That said, it’s worth noting that sources say the film is a top contender no matter what category it falls into, so that’s good.

Do you think Get Out is a comedy? Like, in any form? I mean, sure, LilRel Howery as the ever-supportive best buddy Rod had a few big laughs, but Get Out as full-on comedy?

I don’t think so.

Satire. Maybe.

But that’s just me. Make sure to let us know if YOU think Jordan Peele’s Get Out is a comedy by hitting us up below or on social media!

Nominations for the 75th Golden Globe Awards will be announced Monday, December 11.
