Michael Gross Confirms He Will Not Appear in the Tremors TV Reboot Starring Kevin Bacon

One of the top TV series currently in the works that all of us here at Dread Central are excited as hell to check out is the “Tremors” TV reboot starring Kevin Bacon.
As fans of the franchise, we have been wondering if the series would feature Tremors mainstay Michael Gross as Burt Gummer. Unfortunately, it seems like the answer is still no as Gross let all his fans know on Facebook.
“This is a story from June 2017,” Gross begins. “But for Tremors fans who have been asking, ‘Will Kevin Bacon return to do the films?’ or ‘Is your Burt Gummer character going to be in Kevin’s series?,’ I think we can say with a good deal of certainty that the answer to both questions is ‘no.’ The series is currently shooting in and around Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I have no other details.”
Too bad. We’ll miss you, Burt!
In the Tremors follow-up, written by Andrew Miller, the killer Graboid worms that nearly destroyed Perfection, NV, 25 years ago are back; and the town’s only hope for survival is Valentine McKee (Bacon), who beat them once. But to do it again he’ll have to overcome age, alcohol, and a delusional hero complex.
